Achieve EVERY goal you set yourself!!!

We have talked about goals many times. But as it is such an important topic and there are many approaches, I want to give you one approach that really works and keeps you motivated every single time:

1. Define your major goals. Make sure your objectives, your outcomes are clearly stated using positive, forward pointing language. And please MAKE SURE YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE!

2. Set a date on which you want to have accomplished your goal. Be a little more than just optimistic but don’t be too unrealistic. I’ve had a lot of clients who are in debt and expect to become Millionaires in a year. It’s possible, especially today with Internet Marketing, BUT it’s highly unlikely if you just start out. First you need to gain momentum.

The problem is that we frequently overestimate what we can accomplish in 1 month or 1 year but we vastly underestimate what we can achieve in 3 or 5 years. Remember, Rome was not build in a day. Your dream will not be build in a day either.

3. Establish 3 alternate situations in which you feel you have achieved your desired goals:

a) should be your minimum target (be realistic on this one)

b) should be your true desired outcome

c) should be the most outrageous outcome you can imagine (i.e. the BEST, outrageous achievement of your goal)

That way you are highly likely to achieve at least the minimum target and if you break your goals down into small achievable steps for every month and set minimum, regular, and outrageous outcomes for them, you will very soon notice how you gain momentum.

Remember, success (like money) likes speed. Once you pick up momentum your goals will happen faster than you can imagine BUT first you need to take the small steps and focus ONLY on the outcomes you desire while taking small achievable steps.

Picture your desired outcome and feel the emotion

I have mentioned it more than once and that is that you MUST KNOW your desired outcome before you can start to walk towards it. It makes sense, doesn’t it? You would not jump into your car unless you had an idea where you want to drive to, or would you?

But it is what the vast majority of people do. They “drive” through life without any clear destination and are surprised that in spite of working hard, they do not achieve more success.

You have to picture and experience in your mind the accomplishment of the end result. When you visualize the end result you want to achieve, see yourself actively involved in the accomplishment. This is called constructive “virtual reality.” You are displacing your present situation and old self-image with the new, successful one. Fact is once you can see and feel where you are going, things will start to fall into place and you will almost automatically move toward the goal that you picture.

Your subconscious mind responds to feelings far more than to words or plans. But be careful…it doesn’t respond any better to positive feelings than it does to negative feelings. It just responds to feelings.

The more excited you are, the more desire, the more feeling you put behind an idea, the faster it will manifest. That has been proven in study after study. Feelings and emotions are very important to really get what you want.

You want to see yourself accomplishing the outcome you desire while feeling the joy and satisfaction of your accomplishment in advance BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT!

Find a strong reason WHY

Frequently people find it easier to come up with excuses (they call them reasons) for not doing things they know must be done than with ideas on how best to do them.

Could you one of those?

Jim Rohn said: “When your WHY is strong enough the how becomes easy.”

This means when your reasons why you need to do something are bigger than your excuses, you will make progress toward your goals. Logical, isn’t it?

It also means you have to come up with the reasons why you really should accomplish something before there is time to come up with the excuses that will for sure hold you back.  Works best if you read this twice!

You see, your subconscious is much more powerful than your conscious logical mind and it will work on achieving whatever you give it to work on. In most cases we give it doubt, fear, scarcity, and other negative thoughts.  What do people who lack money most often think about? Money. But not in an empowering way, caring and sharing way.  They think of their lack of it, sometimes look at others who have more with envy, are frustrated because life is not as “it should be” etc.

If you give yourself great positive reasons why you want to achieve a specific goal, your subconscious will immediately take you at your word and begin working toward that goal. And it will keep working on that goal until instructed to do otherwise (and “otherwise” means until those negative excuses sneak back into your thinking).

That is why you need to feed your subconscious with great care because no matter what you feed your mind on it works incessantly on getting you the results it believes you want. The challenge is that those are also the thoughts you planted into it. For instance, when you watched a violent film on TV, or read about a disaster in the newspaper or watch a mindless cheating show. But those are not the results you want, are they? Or are they?

Take a minute, right now, and write down what it is you really want.

Write down all the reasons why you should have it and how it would benefit you and others

If you go through these steps you imprint your positive thoughts on your subconscious mind. And please don’t write out your excuses, they will come up by themselves more often than is good for you. Just focus on your positive reasons why and write those down to internalize them into your subconscious.

And then – Take action RIGHT NOW.

Take one first small step and experience how good it feels to move forward, to move towards your goal, without worrying about excuses or other roadblocks.

How to truly manifest your goals

Just deciding to change something does not automatically change things but the decision is definitely the first step and needs to be made before anything can change.

To effect a change in our powerful subconscious mind action is required and when you take the action to write down your goals they become affirmations.

We call this process “Imprinting,” It is the beginning of taking deliberate control of our thoughts. We picture (visualize) the kind of changes we want to make before we actually make them. When our “picture” is really vivid, our emotions rise and our subconscious sees it as real.

Imprinting is a three-step process:

1. You select your goal and affirm it by writing it down,
2. You picture the outcome you want to achieve
3. You feel the emotion that comes with actually accomplishing the goal.

And now you take massiv focused action until you have actually reached it.
