Hi Heeni,
sometimes we need to agree to disagree. There are so many versions of “the mind” and we don’t really know if they are true. I have seen the TED Talk with Jill Bolte Taylor. Very impressive indeed.
The thing is we all live in our own little universes and perceived things different than the other person because of upbringing, background, anchestory, culture and our own interpretation of all of these.

I am glad you enjoy the posts. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I look forward to hear more from you.

Hi Barbara,
I read your post with much interest. I have to disagree where you said that ‘your mind cannot distinguish an actual experience from a fantasy experience. If your were to watch Jill Bolte Taylor on TED Talks, about February of this year, she shares her amazing experience as to why she became a neuro-scientist and how her stroke gave her insight about how the mind works. Very valuable.

In saying that, i am aware that everyone is able to rationalize their experience. I often wonder how people reason things through to come to the conclusions they come to.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. They are not lost on me:)
