Here is your first exercise for week 1:

Everything in life was NOT created by thought. It was created by BELIEFS. If thoughts alone were our creating powers, than all the screaming babies in the world would have no voices, and everyone who cut you off on the road would be dead! We have a lot of thoughts every day, including daydream and fantasy thoughts. They don’t all come to fruition after having them. That’s because they are not powered by anything. Beliefs empower your thoughts! Thoughts focus the energy we create from our beliefs. Since, we are connected and one with a Greater Power, Higher Source, Unlimited all Loving Being, God, or whatever you wish to call it, we create everything in our lives either consciously or subconsciously. I am attempting to help you learn how to create your life consciously. That way, you will create the things you want, rather than the things you don’t want.

Edgar Cayce was a famous contemporary “Sleeping Prophet” who said, “Spirit is life; mind is the builder; and physical is the result.” In other words, what you believe (spirit), gives life and empowers what you think (mind). And what you think, creates your physical world (result). So, for your first exercise this week, you’re going to empower your desire statement by believing it is a real part of you that you truly believe you want.

Part 1-Read your desire statement out loud, not just silently in your head, and say it with as much feeling and desire as you can. Feel it as a real and meaningful desire, not just as a flippant want. Change it from being just words, to being a real part of you. Say it with passion!

Part 2-Then close your eyes and envision the pad or piece of paper you wrote your desire statement down on in your mind. Then, make yourself see a cord coming out of the pad or piece of paper and connecting right to where your belly button is, just like an umbilical cord! It doesn’t make a difference what type of cord it is, but I want you to see your desire statement actually attached to your body and as if you are feeding your words your energy. When you are visualizing this, you can see electrical energy radiating from your body to your desire statement, light radiating to it, or even blood. Whatever you choose or want, just see your desire statement attached to you and you feeding it. It is best to attach it to your belly button because that is actually your solar plexus chakra and where your energy flow converges.

This is how we were fed and kept alive in utero, so that how we are going to feed our desire statement for this purpose. I know it may sound funny, but try to make it as real as possible for you. It’s ok if your visualization goes in and out. Just keep trying to see it as best you can. The better you can do this, the more you will be empowering your desire. Remember, do both parts of this as often as you can throughout the entire day for the whole week, and let it be one of the last things you do before you go to bed tonight. It becomes easier each day. Also, jot down anything you notice during the day that may be different, as well.

What is the difference between regular action we all take every single day and inspired action? Is there a difference?

YES, there is a massiv difference.

Inspired action is when you make sure that each action you take really moves you towards the outcome you desire.

How to stop Negativity

“How do I stop my negative thoughts?” is a question that I have been asked many times and that I had asked myself many, many times over the years. The answer is really quite simple. You stop negative thoughts by planting positive thoughts!

We all have unsolved issues in our lives we need to take care of. When we think about them negative, disempowering thoughts, worry, and frustration enters our head. We are focusing on what we don’t want – negative thoughts – and therefore will attract more of them. The problem is that they cannot disappear if you focus on them.

You see you cannot “stop” the negative thought consciously because if you try to do that you would still focus on the negative thought, wouldn’t you? Even when you try to control them or to push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on the problem, on the negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more negativity to you.

The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good, positive thoughts!

You deliberately plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your family, your friends, your home, your work, your food, your pets, the sunshine or the rain, the beauty around you, and the wonder of life iself. Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things and beings. Every time you say “Thank you” it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative thoughts will go away because your focus is now on the good and what you focus on is what you will get.

In the first few weeks of coaching my clients are asked to email me at least 5 things they are grateful for each day and they do it last thing in the evening because I want them to go to sleep with these positive thoughts on their mind. Every single one of us that reads this has plenty to be grateful for so if you want to stop negative thoughts think positive ones and say thanks for all the good in you and around you. Do not give your attention to negative thoughts. Don’t worry about them. If any come shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more positive thoughts.

ACTION: Start the day by saying Thanks and end the day by saying Thanks. Thanks for your home, the bed you sleep in, for the water you use to drink, to shower and to make tee or coffee with, for your food, your clothes, for the sunshine or the rain outside, for your car, your job, your health, your family and friends… I think you get the trend. We all have plenty to be grateful for. If you start doing this on a continuous basis you will automatically push those negative thoughts away and dwell on the positive; on what you appreciate in life and as you do that, more and more of what you appreciate will appear.

The more positive thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good, into abundant and happy. If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying “Thank you” at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into your personal paradise; into your ‘perfect’ life!

Do Affirmations work?

A study done at the National Science Foundation discovered that deep thinkers think around 50,000 thoughts a day.

That’s a lot of thinkin’!

This study also cited that the majority of what people think is negative…up to 95%!!!! That’s 47,500 negative thoughts….and that’s a lot of “stinkin’ thinkin’ Zig Ziglar would say.


Here’s the really scary part. The study says that about 90% of what you thought one day is carried over to the next. That means we take our 95% negative thoughts with us – OH NO!!!

How do we stop it?

By consciously taking control of your thoughts with positive and present tense Affirmations. They work!

Remember, every thought you think effects the 70 trillion plus cells in your body.  Can you imagine how all those negative thoughts  affect your cells and your well-being?

We need to change that by doing affirmations throughout the day because they work and with them you are taking conscious control of your thoughts and therefore of your destiny.

Today it has been proven beyond any doubt that what we think is what we manifest in our lives.

Albert Einstein, Niels Borh and others discovered, that everything in this universe is made up of energy and our thoughts are energy. Energy joins together with energies of the same frequency and form what we see as reality. So our thoughts create what is manifested in the physical universe.Affirmations are the most direct way to tap into the universal laws – that is why 95-97% of people do not get what they wish for because they think of their problems and not their dreams. Just look at the study – 95% of thoughts are negative in most people.

For instance the Law of Attraction is the most powerful force in the Universe because it simply means that you attract what you think about and if you think negative thoughts, you attract negative results.

Every thought you think is creating your future!

So be careful what you think about and make it a habit to use – present tense affirmations like I am…, I have… so you attract what you truly want in your life.

How to live your perfect Life

Last week at one of my workshops I asked who had a perfect life. Nobody raised their hand. I then asked the participants to describe their ‘perfect’ life. What came out were some vague ideas like:

“I would have a perfect life if I had more money than I needed.

“How much do you need and will that need stay the same as you earn more?

“…if I live with my family in our dream home.” What does it look like and where will it be?

“…if I have lost all that weight and am more attractive to my partner again.”

“…if I had a job I loved”

You have probably heard about the movie ‘The Secret’. They say for the Law of Attraction to work you need to ask then believe and you will receive. But how can the Universe give you what you ask if you are so vague, if you do not give clear instructions in what it is you want? In most cases it is already in this first part where we lose out. We do not ask clearly enough.

But that has another consequence. If we cannot ask clearly enough we also cannot believe 100 % in it becoming our reality because we cannot SEE it happening. It is nothing but a vague idea. And if the first 2 steps are not done properly we cannot go to the third, to the receive either, can we?

I know it is a very simplistic view of the Law of Attraction but it is what stops most of us getting what we want. We are not crystal clear about what it is. We cannot see our changed life in our mind’s eye.

In order for it to work in our favor we have to visualize what our ideal life looks like in crisp, precise detail and watch our self in that movie. If we do that often enough, we can skip the willpower or positive thinking stuff, and get to our goals…without having to overcome enormous obstacles and struggles!

But, in all probability you only hope, wish, desire for a better life; for things to “get better”, or for you to “become rich”, “happier”, or some other vague and non-specific goal. You have no specific, clear and unshakable vision of what “better”, “rich”, or “happier” means, and therefore cannot turn it into a mental movie you watch in your mind’s theatre over and over and over again.

One of the main principles we talked of in earlier posts is that your mind cannot distinguish an actual experience from a fantasy experience. And if you live the vision with great clarity and specificity in
your mind often enough, your mind becomes fooled into thinking you’ve already been there, done that and allows you to skip the struggle and get straight to the thing you dream about!

So, what can you do to start working towards the life you might describe as ideal?

<!–[endif]–>First of all, you have to write down everything that a perfect life, as you define it, would
contain. Then, use this list to start day-dreaming a movie with you as the star, and the story board
containing all the things on your wish list. This is what I call your Vivid Vision.

Watch this movie of your ideal life over and over, every chance you get but especially before you get up and just before going to sleep. Watch it when you feel good and when you feel bad. No matter what goes on now, watch your vivid vision, your internal movie as often as possible because this is where the second step – the believe sets in. Do not be impatient. It will happen, it will manifest but not necessarily in the time frame you had in mind or in exactly the same way you wished for but happen it will.

You can build your life the way YOU want it if you take action!

Build your dream story board and play your internal movie because if you procrastinate and leave it until you have time or whatever other excuse you come up with now, your dream life can never happen. So, no more reading about it; you know more than enough. Get yourself a pen and paper and start writing your story board, start seeing your life movie and DO IT NOW!!!

From Goal Setting to Goal Achieving

I always say that you can only go as far as your confidence let’s you. Apart from the obvious what do I mean with that?

In the film the Secret it is said that the Law of Attractions works as follows: ask – believe – receive. Which part of these 3 steps do you think is our biggest challenge? The believe part of course.

We normally have no problem asking and when we get what we want, we also have no problem receiving but we do have a big issue with believing. And it is here where we also have our challenges when we set goals.

So let’s look at some scientific facts to help understand the reason why so few of us reach the goals we have set for ourselves. Scientists found that only 2-4 % of what we do actually comes from our conscious mind. This is where our willpower and persistence originates from. But 96-98 % of what we think and do comes from our non-conscious. Most people do not achieve their goals because their 2-4% willpower and persistence against an overwhelming 96-98% is just not strong enough. We are driven by our non-conscious mind or as it is called in neuroscience our implicit memory system.

Let me explain. Our implicit memories are locked in our subconscious. They consist of memories necessary to perform events and tasks, or to produce a specific type of response or emotion. Driving a car becomes an implicit memory once it has become automated but these implicit memories cannot be looked up or remembered so we cannot use them for conscious actions or reasoning.
That is why the “believe” part of the Law of Attraction is so omni-important. As soon as we truly believe that we can achieve/be/have whatever it is we desire, the emotion, this feeling of ‘knowing’ that it will happen, will actually help us make it happen. It activates the 96 – 98 % non-consciousness to act in our favor. And when that happens we become truly unstoppable!

So instead of beating yourself up when you do not reach your goals find the WHY you want to reach it. Find the true reasons, the ones that get you exited and your blood boiling and focus on that. If you believe you can achieve – you will! If your why is strong enough, the how becomes easy.
