In the next few weeks and maybe even over the next few months I want to share with you an incredible resource that is available to us all and that is TED.

What is TED?

TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds:

Technology,

Entertainment,

Design

It has expanded since and twice a year brings together some of the best thinkers and doers of today. One conference is in the US and the second in the UK. More than 700 talks can be found on www.ted.com and I invite you to watch whatever interests you. In my eyes they are all very interesting.

Today I want to share the presentation of Tim Jackson who argued that “We spend money we don’t have on things we don’t need to impress people we don’t care about”.

I think he is spot on!!!
