Are you on twitter or Facebook or myspace or …?
A few months ago someone tweeted (www.twitter.com micro blogging post in case you’ve never heard this word before) the idea of making a mass moonwalk at Liverpool Street Station in London. Milo, a young guy from London read it and thought “Why not”. He sent out an invitation flyer and shortly thereafter the event actually happened. By the looks of it it attracted thousands of people and the media. Here is the video.
It is not very good quality but proves the point that today we can mobilize masses within hours if not minutes. This was never possible before – NEVER before in human history!
Let’s keep that in mind when we have a message we need to get out to the world. WE – the normal, everyday people – have the chance to really mobilize and change the world. Thanks to technolgy and social media we have that power in our hands.
