I always say that you can’t get further than your confidence, your belief in yourself, let’s you. So how can we boost our confidence?

First of all accept the fact that it’s in our nature to want more than we already have. Don’t judge these desires, just accept them for what they are and choose consciously the ones you want to pursue. Then convert them into clear SMART goals.

If it is just something you would like to have or be but there is no real drive to achieve it, put it aside because any obstacle that turns up on the way will probably stop you.

But  if you are serious about a desire turn it into a goal and keep it in sight. Post it in places you see several times a day and go over it constantly.

Make a list of ideas and tasks that will help you accomplish these goals, prioritize your goals and tasks, and act on them. Aim at doing 5 things each day that bring you closer to your goals and desires. Pick the most important five each day and carry them out. Don’t make your task list too difficult. 5 small tasks that you can actually achieve because completing a task is infinite times better than thinking about all the items in your list, starting some of them, but not finishing any of them.

Completion makes you feel good about yourself. When you feel good about yourself your potential rises and you dare to do a little more next time. That is what I call the cycle of success. It’s in your own hands to change your belief system.

Completing things you set out to do wil not only make you achieve your goals but will also boost your confidence and belief in yourself.
